On the 9th of every month, I share eight insights into my psyche as I scheme to grow the Renaissance. I thought I ought to try sharing some of them right here. If they prove compelling, I’ll keep the practice up!

A Plague Tale: Requiem [6 July 2023] — I watched a Let’s Play for this one, and I’m glad I did; this tale offers heart and thrill that many cannot match. Simply put, it’s grim, gross, and gripping as all hell, as befits a story steeped in such unpleasant lore.
Facing Fear [7 September 2023] — Ponder how we tend to use the suffix “-phobia” to speak of mental schemas that manifest as hate. I believe we’ll make more progress purging such ideas when we move to quell the fear that precedes the rage.
